Dubai continues to lead the way with innovative solutions that are transforming urban living. Reinforcing this vision, Sheikh Hamdan witnessed the launch of the Dubai Digital Twin Platform during a workshop organised by Dubai Municipality.
The platform creates a comprehensive digital replica of Dubai by integrating 3D models of more than 195,000 buildings, 330,000 public facilities, and 280,000 infrastructure assets across the emirate. By bringing together detailed spatial and operational data in one place, it will help government entities make faster, more informed decisions while improving the planning and management of the city’s infrastructure.
The initiative reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum to harness technology and data to build a city that is prepared for the future. It also supports the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda which aims to strengthen Dubai’s global competitiveness through innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable economic growth.
Speaking about the launch, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the importance of integrated digital ecosystems and artificial intelligence in shaping the cities of the future. He noted that long-term success will depend on collaboration between the public and private sectors, as well as entrepreneurs working together to develop innovative solutions.
