Dubai’s real estate market continues to assert its position as one of the most dynamic and resilient in the world, with an impressive AED25.88 billion ($7 billion) in property transactions recorded in just one week. From July 7 to July 11, the city witnessed 8,328 property sales, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for real estate investment.
Sales transactions formed the core of this activity, contributing AED22.04 billion ($6.7 billion) to the total volume, as reported by the Dubai Land Department. This significant surge in transaction value reflects the sustained confidence of both local and international investors in Dubai’s market.
Among the standout transactions were a series of ultra-luxury property sales on Palm Jumeirah. These included:
- An apartment at Six Senses Residences The Palm that changed hands for AED116 million ($31.6 million)
- A residence at The Alba Residences, sold for AED70 million ($19 million)
- An apartment in Ava at Palm Jumeirah by Omniyat, which sold for AED64.5 million ($17.5 million)
In addition to direct sales, mortgage transactions reached AED2.87 billion ($781 million) during the same period, reflecting a balanced mix of cash purchases and financed acquisitions within the market.
Furthermore, gift transactions often associated with intergenerational wealth transfer and estate planning totaled AED966 million ($264 million), highlighting the diverse nature of property ownership transfers in the emirate.
