The project spans 7.4 million square metres and will feature a modern shopping mall, a wildlife sanctuary, gardens, and multiple leisure attractions. Dubai Square will include 10,000 homes, more than 1,500 hotel rooms, and a 7,500 square metre retail district, creating a self-contained community designed for modern living.
Developed by Emaar Properties, the team behind the Burj Khalifa, the project reflects the vision of founder Mohamed Alabbar. The mall alone will be three times the size of Downtown Dubai, with a total investment of Dhs180 billion, and the entire development is expected to be completed within three years.
The residential spaces are designed along the waterfront of Dubai Creek and will offer apartments, duplexes, and penthouses suitable for all lifestyles. The mall will introduce a modern shopping experience with features such as a rooftop waterpark, an Ice Adventure attraction, and a Music, Colour, and Fire Plaza powered by advanced technology.Â
The project also emphasizes sustainability, with 500,000 square metres of gardens and pedestrian-friendly streets, alongside the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, a key site for biodiversity in the UAE.
Dubai Square will also integrate advanced technology to enhance the visitor experience. AI systems will help predict the needs of both retailers and guests, while dedicated facilities will support the growing electric vehicle market.Â
A new metro line is planned to connect Dubai International Airport to Dubai Square, ensuring seamless accessibility for residents and visitors alike.
