The Drone Box system, developed by Ondas Autonomous Systems and provided by Airobotics DMCC, has been certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration, making it one of the most advanced drone technologies available. This system is engineered to operate autonomously and respond swiftly to incidents, ensuring that critical data can be gathered and analyzed in a timely manner.
Captain Mohammed Omar Almuhairi, head of the Unmanned Aerial Systems Centre at the General Department of Operations of Dubai Police, highlighted the importance of the initiative, emphasizing that the Drone Box system has proven to be an essential tool in improving emergency response times across the city. “Together with DMCC, we aim to leverage these aerial capabilities to improve situational awareness and safety in one of the world’s most dynamic free zones and business hubs,” he said.
