London is a unique cultural and economic powerhouse in the world today. Where history and modernity mix and fuse it is little wonder that it is also one of the most cosmopolitan and exciting cities to live in right now.
Despite the recent pandemic, London asking prices had been going up year on year and that trend is still likely to continue. London property is a safe haven for investors especially in a dynamic region like London. There’s property to suit all types of investor in the most vibrant of all UK cities.
ONE Investments has looked at the numbers to reveal the best the capital has to offer for 2020 and beyond. Here are our recommendations over the next few months.
Battersea and Nine Elms
The area of Battersea is on the London South Bank overlooking the River Thames. Undergoing one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe, the famous landmark power station is found here and millions of pounds have been pumped into this area already making it a cultural hotspot. The outstanding Tate Modern art gallery is also located here.
Situated between Vauxhall and Battersea, Nine Elms is an ambitious transformation project that is expected to be an up-and-coming area to live for younger professionals. With Battersea Power Station currently being rejuvenated and a series of luxurious riverside apartments appearing, the area is expanding with many amenities aimed at the young and family residents. It also strives to capture part of the tourist market with a largely boutique shopping experience.
The New Covent Garden Flower Market aims to be the UKs largest flower market and is open to residents and visitors alike. Nine Elms will also be boosted by ample green spaces, catering for families with health centres and school developments. The brand new US embassy has also opened in Nine Elms.
Transport links include Vauxhall station but new tube stations with a Northern Line expansion
